Alex joined SSRD Law in 2018 as an associate on the personal injury team. Alex is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York. She attended Penn State University and earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. Prior to joining SSRD Law, Alex practiced in New Jersey with a solo practitioner, focusing on general litigation which included both civil and criminal matters.
While in law school, Alex was recognized for her work with Seton Hall Law’s juvenile justice clinic, defending juveniles involved in criminal matters in the Superior Court of New Jersey. After law school, Alex clerked for the Honorable James A. Farber, J.S.C., Chancery Division – Family Part, Superior Court of New Jersey, Sussex County from 2013 through 2014. While serving as a law clerk, Alex handled family matters including divorce, domestic violence, child custody, and post-divorce issues. Alex also serves as a volunteer attorney for the Jersey Battered Woman’s Legal Advocacy Project.
Prior to law school, Alex was a television news producer at CNN in New York, where she covered major national and international news events, including the shooting at Virginia Tech, the Minneapolis bridge collapse and the 2008 Presidential election campaign. Prior to CNN, Alex was a writer/producer at WJLA-TV ABC 7 News in Washington, D.C.
