Fred Clarke is a graduate of Pace University School of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies in Journalism at New York University. Fred has been with Stenger, Roberts, Davis & Diamond for two years and focuses on Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense and Guardianship.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Clarke led a wide-ranging career in government and corporate communications. He worked on Capitol Hill as Director of Radio and Television to House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt (D-Missouri) and Press Secretary to House Minority Whip David Bonior (D-Michigan). He also worked as a communications manager at JPMorgan and IBM. After 20 years in corporate communications, he entered the legal profession because he was tired of helping big business. Instead he wanted to help individuals to move forward with their lives. Mr. Clarke feels that nothing is more rewarding than to help a family through the toughest times and that nothing more fulfilling than to protect someone in harm’s way.
Mr. Clarke was recently appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region. The United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region invests in solutions to the community’s biggest challenges by partnering with all sectors of the community to identify resources and leverage volunteers to make the Dutchess-Orange region a better place for our children and families.
Mr. Clarke lives in Cold Spring, NY where he is an active member of the Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus. He is a member of the Putnam Bar Association and is very involved in local Putnam County politics.
